We turned our lawn into a labyrinth. Over the course of a year I walked in it, laughed and cried in it, learned from it, and let it go.

To keep the magic of the labyrinth alive, I designed this embossed finger labyrinth.
I am delighted to offer The Labyrinth Card to like-minded thinkers and seekers.

The Labyrinth Card is for mindfulness & meditation,
for wanderers & ponderers, for seekers of stillness & quiet,
for leaders & guides, for when we are lost
& for company on the way.

The Gardener’s Journal featuring the labyrinth on the day it was created.

The Gardener’s Journal featuring the labyrinth on the day we first mowed it.

The labyrinth is a mirror. If I am willing to see myself reflected in it, the experience becomes more than a walk. If I stay lost in my mind it magnifies whatever I carried in with me. I can leave the labyrinth lighter or more burdened. The choice is mine.
— From “The Making of a Labyrinth: The power of impermanent things”, The Gardeners Journal

The story of the labyrinth features in the first issue of the newly relaunched The Gardener’s Journal.

The Gardener’s Journal is available from bookstores in New Zealand, and online from Frensham Gardens.

A labyrinth makes no demands of us. It holds us no matter what we’re feeling, whatever our mood, whether we are mindful or not.
